Calibration MEASURES an instrument's deviation; it does not correct it and does not declare the instrument correct. The certificate is not a conformity document — whether the instrument is fit for use is your decision, based on the tolerance and decision rule you define.

Temperature and Humidity
Calibration of thermodynamic quantities. The single most decisive factor here is the time needed to reach a steady state: a reading taken before thermal equilibrium between instrument and reference produces an error larger than the measurement itself.
Mechanical Measurements
Calibration of pressure, mass, force, torque and dimension. In the mechanical field, ambient influences such as local gravity, buoyancy and temperature change the result directly; these corrections are shown on the certificate.
Pressure CalibrationCalibration of pressure gauges, pressure transmitters and vacuum gauges.
Mass CalibrationCalibration of weights and mass standards according to OIML classes.
Balance CalibrationRepeatability and accuracy calibration of non-automatic weighing instruments.
Force CalibrationCalibration of load cells, tension-compression machines and force gauges.
Torque CalibrationCalibration of torque wrenches, screwdrivers and torque measuring devices.
Dimensional CalibrationCalibration of calipers, micrometers, gauges and dimensional measuring instruments.
Electrical and Time
Calibration of electrical quantities, radio frequency and time–frequency. Here the traceability chain is short and the drift of the reference instrument is the decisive item in the uncertainty budget.
Electrical CalibrationCalibration of multimeters, sources, oscilloscopes and electrical measuring instruments.
RF CalibrationCalibration of radio-frequency power, attenuators and spectrum analysers.
Time / Frequency CalibrationCalibration of frequency counters, oscillators and time measuring instruments.
Fluid, Acoustic and Optical
Calibration of volume, flow, acoustic and photometric quantities. What these fields share is a strong dependence on fluid or ambient conditions: temperature, pressure and background noise affect the result markedly.
Volume CalibrationCalibration of pipettes, burettes, volumetric flasks and volumetric glassware.
Flow CalibrationCalibration of liquid and gas flow meters.
Acoustic CalibrationCalibration of sound level meters, calibrators and the acoustic measurement chain.
Photometry CalibrationCalibration of luminous intensity, illuminance and spectral measuring instruments.
